MSPs Compared. Make sure you check out RFI: Managed Web Hosting by Jon William Toigo in the 9/3/01 issue of Network Computing. Jon and his team created a Request for Information (RFI) for a fictitious company and sent it to 16 MSPs. When the dust settled, only seven responded and allowed their proposals to be published: Comdisco, CSC, e^deltacom, EDS, Exodus, Interliant and Xand. The details are more interesting than the outcome, but guess who won?
Jon has also written The Essential Guide to ASPs, to be published next month by Prentice Hall PTR.
