Internet Content Delivery

Thoughts and links on Internet content delivery, caching and CDNs by Doug Kaye.

Loudcloud to loosen up? According to John Borland, Staff Writer for CNET News.com, Loudcloud (a high-visibility MSP) will move away from the very rigid (one-size-fits-all) end of the rigid/flexible spectrum.

Loudcloud has been chasing success since it was founded. First it had to shift away from dot-coms when they started disappearing. Now the company appears to have realized that not every IT department wants to abandon everything it's created, just for the privilege of working with Loudcloud.

Cool! Just curious, I ran a search for "web hosting" on Amazon.com, and what should appear, but my new book! It's the first time I've seen the cover art. Amazon.com says the book will be available November 9, 2001. (Is it true that the author is always the last to know these things?) Check it out.
